Surgical Services

Let’s face it, whether it is an elective, non-elective or emergency procedure, hearing that your best friend and faithful companion needs surgery is always scary. At Noah’s Glen we aim to minimize that fear by minimizing patient risk. We do this by performing all major surgeries in a modern, sterile surgical theater equipped with state-of-the-art anesthetic and monitoring equipment, utilizing current, universally accepted surgical techniques and well-trained, experienced personnel. From pre-anesthetic blood testing to post-operative home care we explain everything step-by-step to assure that your pet’s surgical experience and outcome is as successful, positive and uneventful as possible. If there are non-surgical alternatives or pre-operative measures that can be taken to further minimize surgical risk or time we discuss those with you, too.

Some of the procedures we regularly perform are:

Soft Tissue Procedures

  • Spay and Neuter (Elective and Non-elective)
  • Tumor Removal/Biopsies
  • Laceration Repair
  • Abdominal Exploratory/Foreign Body Removal/Splenectomy
  • Gastric Dilitation and Volvulus aka “GDV” or “Bloat” – both Non-Elective (Emergency) and Elective (Prophylactic) Pexy (“Stomach Tacking”)
  • Bladder Stone Removal/Urinary Tract Surgery
  • Non-Elective Cosmetic (Hernia Repair, Vulvoplasty)

Orthopedic Procedures
